means to understand English?
Does ARAF on the road really have any effect on the motorist in Wales (not sure what the equivalent is in Gaelic)?
Why should it become mandatory to have bi-lingual signs if it is not mandatory to be able to speak both languages? And why Gaelic on top? Surely English is the first language?
And don't you just feel there are far too may damned signs spoiling our countryside anyhow? Perhaps when everyone has Satnav we can ditch them all.
