U.K. Property taxes highest in the world.

It has been anounced in the States that the U.K. has the highest property taxes in the world. That and "Scotland Today" has run an article that property prices in Scotland have risen at twice the rate of property in England.

Have you all won the pools and not told anyone? With the high prices for property there with the taxes to boot, I honestly don't know how you all are making it. With winter coming on, added heating costs should do a few families in. I wish I had a solution.

Its a form of political manipulation......make borrowing relatively cheap.....encorage people to buy houses......they feel they are better off because they own thier house, although in reality have less income.......house prices go through the roof......banks do exeptionaly well .......pat gordon brown on back......idiots in middle england and the central belt of scotland continue to vote labour cos they think they are better off ect........high house prices mean the economy is doing well, or looks like its doing well while in reality we do not manufacture or export any thing....exept gravel......and everybodys happy........unless you earn less than the average wage and are stuck with a landlord who is making use of the housing shortage to rip you off.........
