Water's too warm for cod round here but, if you're still hungry little dude, I recommend the little red and white mushrooms popping up, surprisingly early, amongst the fairy stones at old Ardfad croft.....well worth the trip.

NA i got a cold already this year. I GIVE UP ON THIS TOPIC. But im still intrested in the mushrooms

you will catch cod here but bit difficult with a rod......try catching pollack or saithe pretty easy prey, use white feathers.
Surely things arnt that bad that one of our number is reduced to catching thier own fish.......perhaps you should look to the tourist trade to help you out.
I am sure you could perhaps catch some crumbs as the shearings bus breases through easdale..

Try the quarries at low tide. Once they're in there, they can't get out.
