Lovely Weather for a dance....

Post by wasseventhseil »

Great to see so many seilachs both past and present at this years new years dance.
Why it took me back to the great dance of 84'.
Back when men were men and there was no such thing as a "metrosexual".

Back when i was a slip of a girl being flung from farmer to fisherman in a never ending Orcadian Strip the Willow of romance.....
Oh the bittersweet melancholy of youth!,when "The Pride of Erinn" Waltz was the sound track to our budding dreams and asspirations, and the Alexander Brothers were never off the phonograph!

Hand me some Highland Arts Tablet i'm feeling faint!!!

A "Metrosexual", although maybe does have the ocasion to fornicate with the best of British motor design. Is more likely to be found cruising the nail bars of Glasgows leafy West End drinking skinny Latte's and bottled Italian water.
Or holding up shoppers while purchasing vast amounts of personal grooming products to give thier face that healthy varnished look.

Unfortunatly for the "Metrosexual" he is heading the same way as the "New Man" and is thought to be on the verge of extinction and will be replaced by the "Retrosexual" in the early part of 2007.

Unfortunatly for any remaining "Metrosexuals" after 07' we will be experiencing a major oil shortage and our use for male shop assistants, estate agents, PR consultants, stock brokers and other assorted non-jobs will be replaced by the need for men who can lift heavy objects, fix things, produce food and operate a shovel.
