Nice tune, but there seem to be a lot of different words. Moira Kerr sings a particularly insipid version (sorry to MK fans) which mentions God and Victory far too often for my liking.
In fact the whole Cathedral concept is maybe a little bit monotheist for these modern times . . .
I'm inclined to prefer 'A Man's A Man For A' That', which was of course sung at the opening of the Scottish Parliament.
Should we have a wee poll?

I'd just like to congratulate Scotland on their well deserved win over France ( a world class team)
I'm sure the owner of the saltire at Seaview is very proud!!
Just goes to show what optimism can achieve!

I'm sure the owner of the saltire at Seaview is very proud!!
And did you note the colour of the saltire on their shirts? Navy blue is out, and now it's not even Pantone whatever 300, but something even lighter.
Get that flag down and put something up to show Seil is in touch with the latest fad!

I don't know how long it's been up, for I haven't travelled that way for some time......but it's certainly big enough!!!

I must congragulate you on making the final Moonraker.
You had a hard road to the final, succesfully boring the opposition out of the game with some of the dullest rugby i've ever seen in my life. I like how all the backs can also play as forwards. Fat and Slow.
I will cheer for England (we are neighbours after all) but i can't help but think:
Habana will tear you apart
Schalk will tear you apart
Du Preez will tear you apart
Percy is a better kicker than Jonny
Os Du Randt will poo all over your mighty scrum.
xx
