Scotland may have an outside chance of winning
not that optimistic that id bet on it

Without getting mired into the the whole debate on the relative merits of any particular football team, which could open up a whole can of worms, could I make the following point, purely on the subject of the original premise-
The supporter of a bottom of the league team, not in one of the larger conurbations, must have a huge helping of optimism, to go along and pay good money to watch them perform, in the off-chance that a draw might be forthcoming - or even, against all the odds, a win. As a further proof of optomistic nature, should the supported team win, against the odds, our optomistic supporter would expect to celebrate in style without any adverse repercussions from supporters of the losing team.
Optimism - expect the best, but watch your back.
