Well sayed Nick,

One only has to look at the likes of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown to see what you mean.

His absence hasn't really been missed anyhoo, just left a poor fisherman without a crew.

Do I sense a touch of sarcasm Moonraker?

The students of today will become the tax payer of tomorrow; the tax payer that will end up paying for your vitamin pills and home help.

But I thought it was supposed to be nonsensical :P

Anyways, my kids will be leaving school in the next couple of years and going on to uni or other things.

They both said to me "Dad, we love this place but there's nothing here for us right now"

Guess they'll move back when they're oldies :doh

by Seil Sally
It might not matter to you, old-timer, but these are relevant and worrying issues to some!!

But how many of the 17 year old University goers actually come back?

Posted: Sun Oct 28, 2007 7:15 pm
by Seil Sally
maybe we don't want them back - with their "patronising ideas and 'city ways'"

As opposed to the small minded views and beliefs of many amongst our community?!? One minute you're worried, the next you're not bothered! What are your REAL views SS?

 :? my last post wasn't my own personal view but the presumption of some others in the community. I, of course, would welcome the return of the post graduates........
