This video gives an idea of how this has taken off in other Scottish coastal communities.

Construction of the Seil boat is now well under way. If you would like to help with the building come up to the shed on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 onwards. We need empty yoghourt pots (for mixing epoxy) and old towels (for rags for wiping epoxy. If you have any then bring them to the shed or drop them off at my house or send a PM and I'll arrange collection.
More information on the Seil Skiff website.

There is now a box in the shop to drop off items to help with building the skiff. At the moment the building team could do with empty youghurt pots (or pot noodle etc - bigger sizes 6000m upwards especially welcome) for mixing epoxy in. Old towels or other suitable rag material would also be useful. (Epoxy can be a messy business).
A couple of dustbins for the shed would also be useful if anyone has one they could spare. Don't take this to the shop though! - either take it to the shed or PM me and I will collect it.
There's a new post on the skiff website with a few pictures showing how the building team are laminating the stems - we did one last night.
