You are all so fortunate

Post by S Kerr »

You are all so fortunate to be living in such a beautiful place. Perhaps, one day, in the not-too-distant future, I may be able to join you all.

It really does seem the perfect place to retire to.

Yeah. I'm thinking of granting planning permission to myself for a nice wee holiday love nest overlooking Cuan Sound, what's the local talent like?

Dear Mr Prescott, if it really is you, I think you will find that your planning remit does not run quite as far as Seil. Such powers rest with Argyll and Bute Council, and, ultimately, with the Scottish Executive. However, I understand, from another thread, that it may be worthwhile "having a word" with the the community council first. Wheels of business etc.

The Cuan Sound is indeed a beautiful spot, although I have been told that it can be a very alarming place for sailors.

Is this us back to the Marine National Park debate?

I don't know about mermaids but I reckon as an ageing hippy I should be protected.
