So......

Now that all the socially-challenged have become bored and drifted away from the forum in search of other anarchic dalliances, perhaps we can be re-born and enjoy interesting discussion without the weasels and rats scurrying around our feet distracting us.

Whilst we appreciate Nick B and his giving of time, it should also be noted that aspects of the Home page are seriously outdated. For example, the News (Seilachan 2007 ) !! Travel - ferry timetables of 2004 !!

I have observed Nick B asking for input, so perhaps we ALL have an obligation to assist ?

May I suggest you refresh your browser?

All timetables are current and have been for some time.

Seilachan comment is a fair cop. As the person who edits it is unable or unwilling to provide us with it in any form our systems can read we have to scan the paper copy to PDF, and this has not been done recently. We even get our paper copy later than most people for some reason. I don't think the author of the Seilachan really wants it on the web, but now you have pointed it out we will remedy the matter - if I can find our copy of the current edition.

I find this disdain incredulous!
I suspect, however, that there are many more who share my belief, and I am all the more bewildered by Spiderman who previously resigned from the forum for very similar reasons.
Nick B - I'm not squabbling, but only communicating my thoughts. It's just a pity there are those who recognise there own failings and find my thoughts elitist !!

Too right; why don't you put your mind to them....you, by your own admission, are not even prepared to contribute to, what could become, an enlightening and amusing thread about LIT.

If you don't contribute then don't whinge about those who do but whose views you don't like.

If it wasn't for the remarkably patient and understanding likes of Teddy and Spidey you'ld be talking to yourself on this Forum. Maybe that's what you actually want?

1. Summer starts tomoprrow about 2 pm

2.Swallows have had three hatchings this year and the signets on Loch Seil have survived (unlike previous years)

3. The Dow is up 170 as I write, the Fed is now planning to bail out AIG and UBS have declared that they were only into Lehman for £300m. Armeggon may be avoided after all.

4. Seil Silly might even be smiling.
