Our website was seriously spammed last month. We had to discontinue our guest book section. The was over 1000 spam entries for male enhancement drugs. It is a shame that things like this happen.

Spammed guestbook

There is no way to stop manual spammers who are prepared to register, but there are plenty of guestbook scripts that will stop automated spam.

My thoughts on forums are very simple. I register because if I have something to say, I think you should know who is saying it. Why hide behind anonymous postings. Just my opinion.

I will look into putting up a guestbook script. Thanks for the info.
