Surely the election - south of the border - of cads and bounders hastens the coming of independence in God's country?!
And the Labour party has not been full of cads, bounders, liars (spin masters), thugs and cheats? They are all good God-fearing, men of integrity who don't line their own nests? Just like the Speaker of the House, who just happens to be Scots and Working Class. And Charirman of the Committee reviewing MP's expenses.

When so many of Britain's leading politicians on all sides have Scots blood in them, perhaps you should reconsider your statement

 8) PP. While I share your general view about Labour politicians, my original comment was about the consequences of the election now of cads and bounders in the English upper class twit category, something that will surely benefit the SNP........ 8)

There's nothing wrong with some upper class twits (myself included IMHO)
just as there is nothing wrong with some lower class twits

A twit is defined as "an insignificant or bothersome person" so how can a twit of any class have "nothing wrong with" him/her, PP?? And, surely, old chap, you aren't really implying that you're an insignicant and bothersome person? A silly old blogger, maybe, but not that bad! 8)

PP. Are you Boris's type?

I'm looking forward to Boris meeting George Bush soon - he once remarked of George Dubya

“The President is a cross-eyed Texan warmonger, unelected, inarticulate, who epitomises the arrogance of American foreign policy”.

The boy should go far!!

8) yes, he's got a great way with words, old Boris.

Such as "nothing wrong with being Scots per se",

“My friends, as I have discovered myself, there are no disasters, only opportunities. And, indeed, opportunities for fresh disasters",

“The Tory Party - the funkiest, most jiving Party on Earth!”

“My chances of being PM are about as good as the chances of finding Elvis on Mars, or my being reincarnated as an olive.”,

"For 10 years we in the Tory Party have become used to Papua New Guinea-style orgies of cannibalism and chief-killing, and so it is with a happy amazement that we watch as the madness engulfs the Labour Party."

"Tony Blair is a mixture of Harry Houdini and a greased piglet. He is barely human in his elusiveness. Nailing Blair is like trying to pin jelly to a wall."

"I am supporting David Cameron purely out of cynical self-interest."

"Voting Tory will cause your wife to have bigger breasts and increase your chances of owning a BMW M3."
-----------------------------------------------

A lot of this is good fun stuff but would you want him running anything bigger than the Seil Hall lottery? 8)

Well, with any luck he will missmanage the subsidy junkie city state of London as badly as said city state has governed the rest of Britain, thus giving the square mile a taste of its own speculatory medicine.....

Its my belief that in all seriousness the beleif of nearly every man born is that his place of birth is gods own country;sadly not everyone can be right
be patriotic love your country no matter which it is . and by the way what makes you think i`m not Irish.

yes sometimes my postings are a little obscure but hell who`s perfect and hopefully they stir things a bit from time to time

No apologies "I am what I am" and its the differences and a degree of tolerance between us that makes life worth living

Dear Teddy, i'm cool; don't worry. I can tolerate you, it's just I don't think I quite know where you are coming from. The hint that you may be Irish sure helps!

8) Hi Teddy, as far as God's country is concerned, maybe what we mean is:

"That man's the true Cosmopolite
Who loves his native country best" (Tennyson)

or

"God gave all men all earth to love,
But, since our hearts are small,
Ordained for each one spot should prove
Beloved above all" (Kipling)

No bad fur a bit o Kulture, eh?!! 8)
