If we're talking comedy heros (and excluding the Big Yin)

Never really found Rab C that funny - and certainly not after Gregor Fisher booted the ar*e out of the charcater for three series too many..

MacGlashan.........on the other hand.....well see for yourselves...

However - I did say:
If we're talking comedy heros (and excluding the Big Yin)
So how's about...

Eric and seventh. Is it too much to ask for a Scottish hero. Not saying these aint good but as your teachers at school might have said could do better.

Hi Makes sense, the reason I chose AC DC is because The Young brothers were all born in Scotland and the lead singer Bon Scot (short for Bonnie Scotland) was also born in Scotland, and played the bag pipes on their first album. as for the fourth member I am not sure.....I did have my tongue in my cheek when putting it up though as they are obviously from Australia.

At the risk of being yellow carded for pedentary......

AC/DC were/are a five piece - Phil Rudd & Cliff Williams were the other original band members.

George Young (brother of Malcolm & Angus) was the producer and was a one time member of that popular sixties beat combo the Easybeats

O~K now my pub quiz audition is over heres something quintessentially Scottish.........if you forget it's made by monks in Devon

What makes you think PP isn't already a Grand Dragon?????

The raising of the "fiery cross" was the old heeland way of summoning the clans before being hijacked by the KKK
