has anyone noticed the sign at kilninver church. has the minister changed his name or is it just human error..

Sally, I haven't seen it but I suspect that the reason you don't get it is 'cause you're the only sane normal un-sad person on this blog! :roll:

Maybe the wee baldy man that does the signs is a cockney and couldn't help but drop the 'h'?

i had returned to the island after a long time away for a family christmas...and eventually it all made sense!!!!! I deliberately stopped to look at the new sign at kilninver church and there it was....perfectly obvious to the eye!!! a mis-spelt reverand!!

i'm sorry but a lovely gesture but unfortunately not spelt correctly? or could i be wrong? anyone else?!?!?!

hope u all had a great chrstmas, and all the best for the new year!!!

Finally I remembered to look in passing....

YES - defnitely an Anglified version of one of your fine, Scottish names !

It's obviously a reaction to the bilingual road signs !!

Tell Me - is the sign a perment fixture and if so will it be corrected by the gnome ooops sorry(thats another blog) the gentlemen who painted it :? have to say to SS it took me a while to work it out too :oops: then i slowed down and realised there's a church there aswell :!: :!: :!:
