OK, gurus, who can answer this?

On the other side of Ardfern, towards Lochgilphead, up the steep hill, past Salachry, and round the corner to the right where the trees were cut down, there are 3 old tombstones near the road. They used to have that red and white tape round them - I haven't been up there for some time but I assume they're still there.

The people who used to be at Salachry told me that they were the graves of brothers who had a fight over something or other in the 16th Century, and all of them died during the altercation.

I guess most, if not all, of you were not around then but can anyone shed some light on this story?

I've never heard of this but it sounds interesting.

I've been on holiday for a few weeks. A quick sampling of the forums leads me to the conclusion that people are getting even dafter. Is this correct?

nonny mouse must be born again maybe he buried them there in his earlier life now he is running out of places to bury the bodies next time just bury them under the road save you going ten feet in the field

Might be wrong, but I think I may have photographed them today and have some - not much info on them?

Haven't been able to check grid ref, but personally have doubts if this the three tombstones you saw? I will try to upload my photo somewhere.
