Now the Daily Record has ridden to the defence of Nicola Sturgeon in an attack on the English Sun:

Because the Daily Record has ridden to the defence of your heroine.
Otherwise why would you bother to get it all reported on these pages?

Do you understand the meaning of the word 'irony' ??jimcee wrote:Because the Daily Record has ridden to the defence of your heroine.

Re: Our wonderful media - irony piled on irony
Sorry - all this irony is lost on me.
You produced some rather unflattering images of your heroes/heroines taken from the opposition press (personally I found the caricatures instantly recognisable) and lambasted them in no short order as "disgraceful".
So I naturally assumed that you would be delighted to report to your followers that the Daily Record had taken up the cudgel against the "scurrilous" press.
Without wishing to cause any further upset to the applecart, could I respectfully point out that the home page contains a lot of history.
