Jimcee...I sincerely hope you are not referring to me as a 'lovesick flower girl'!! The reality could not be further from the truth. I really do not like men..except for very clever ones who can dazzle me with their brainpower 8) 8) . As I said earlier..my days of 'trysts' are in the past. If you like the thought that there is a nympho living in Balvicar then enjoy your fantasy..think you will be disappointed though.

Touche' Foxy, et bonne nuit!

So, you stay in Balvicar - allegedly! Why not move your nefarious activities to the golf club car park. It's much more accesible for me and my zimmer.

P.S. Foxy and Jimcee, the car park at Caolas is the free A&B Council one at Eileanabeich - but then Foxy you and I know both know that well!!!! :freezing

Right enough Sport (there's an Australian expression to counter all this French nonsense) this thread has degenerated into a geographical know how of Seil, with likely places for assignations being clearly identified.
As is clear from viewing numbers there is a fair old following for all these nonsensical musings from non-contributors.
For how much longer can we hold their interest?

Nonsensical? oh no Jim, lots of people just love the smell of a bit of gossip, what's the term up here ? 'Sweetie Wives' I believe, most are too nervous to reply [maybe the mods are a bit harsh?] but it's all a bit of fun and banter...and, mixed with the serious debates then that is what a forum should be :)

So you two - where do we go from here now we've gone 'viral!?'

With everbody wondering 'will she, won't she,' 'is he, or isn't he,' - when will the video be posted on Youtube under the title 'Sleepy, Jim and the Gossemer Fox?'

Think our adoring fans will forgive us and wait patiently for the further adventures of The Stertorous Trio! Anyway, I have to replace the tyres on my zimmer - they're quite worn out and need replaced rushing between the car parks.

Hasta la Vista

While you two have been to-ing and fro-ing between various car parks, on your behalf, I have given some thought to the subject of trysts.
Both the sites cited (no pun intended) to my mind, verge on being rather public and this is not ideal in such circumstances.
Although my trysting days are but a sweet memory, the ideal site was always as far removed as possible from other members of the human race (and police patrols).
So in the spirit of sharing ideas, could I suggest two secluded spots next to two seperate barns on the flat stretch over the hill on the Ardencaple road.
Plenty of parking space, virtually no traffic, and a good zimmer surface all the way.
Given that the readership of these musings is blossoming, there is the danger I suppose, that it might become so popular that parking meters could be installed.

Uh oh! Jim...to my great surprise you sound like an 'expert' in these 'goings on'! Maybe those of us with nefarious intentions should pm you for advice on 'where and when'.

.........and Foxy, by 'those of us with....' do you mean your good self?

By goodness jimcee, you're speaking here with a great deal of knowledge on the subject! You obviously know the spot intimately! Want to fess up on anything? There are only 720'ish heavy breathing readers waiting for your details

All my assignations took part in other parts of Scotland.
My knowledge of the hinterland of Seil is garnered from a search for brambles and sloes, and wild horses would not succeed in dragging out details of the sites for these which I have found productive.
However on these quests, old habits die hard, and the suitability of certain sites for other purposes than berry picking quite naturally come to mind.
As the knowledge of the human race is cumulative, I merely felt it my duty to pass on these observations to those more inclined to make use of them.
If this information should be too widely dissseminated and the particular spots lose their unique solitude, another previously untapped source is on the forestry road at Loch Seil (although a bit far for the zimmer brigade) and might well be worth considering.

Been away for a wee while with work, yes, I'm a working girl but not THAT kind of 'working girl' sleepy! :D . Interesting that Jim is contributing to our knowledge of 'trysting spots' in the area, good on you Jim, sure that this information will prove helpful..especially with the warmer weather [hopefully] not too far away. Loch Seil! goodness yes...sure I've seen some cars turning into the forestry at night whilst on my way home from the chippy in Oban!

This may a slight digression from the mainstream theme of this discussion (but it has already twice veered off the straight and narrow).
This chance remark (in the last reply) about coming back from the chippy in Oban, got me to thinking that there might well be an opening here on Seil for some sort of "carry out" service, or "to go", to coin an American expression.
We do not have a wealth of catering services hereabouts and with the influx of summer visitors in self catering there could well be a demand for this sort of service, even if just seasonal.
I realise that with all the hoo-ha there is currently with health & safety, planning regulations, food standards, and sundry beaurocracy that starting something from scratch might be too daunting, but existing establishments who have already surmounted these hurdles might usefully extend their repertoire.
After all, if you take transport costs into the equation, a bag of chips from Oban costs an arm and a leg, and then there is the cooling off effect on the return journey.
Anyone who considers taking this further will have my blessing (and my custom).

Tried the 'local' chips once...horrible! However, the new people at the Oyster Bar may be considering a takeaway service...anyone know? Myself,..I would never make a special journey to Oban for chips..as you rightly say Jim, they would need reheating. But after visiting pals and relatives in Oban a bag of chips is a wee treat now and again.

Maybe Highland Arts should try again for a catering van?

Yes, I like the idea! Also it would give me a good excuse to hang around the car park in the hope of meeting 'sleepy'...I could then act all nonchalant. :D...not 8)

But Foxy, I am confused! Are you telling me there really are, at least, two nymphos in Balvicar?

I thought I had you well and trully ID'ed, but no! Next time can you please not wear the face mask in the dark, and, say more than the flat line, monosalabic grunt you use when we meet - that is, if it's really you! Are you the blonde or brunette? :-?

OMG -Please don't tell me that all you hussies in Balvicar share the same gossemer leotard! Yuk! And, how many more are there of you? :hyper

Illusions shattered! - Next time Foxy the passwords, so I know it's really you, are " Jim's hiding in the bushes collecting plums!'- Pleeze oanly say ziz wance et soyez prudents!'

Zut alors!!

With all this talk of Leopard skin Leotards, and zimmer tyres below the legal limit, either some have been hitting the sauce bottle, or there is a lot of unbridled passion out there.
If such be the case could I also suggest that our moderator who has thoughtfully provided this platform for mostly more erudite discussion, and a helpline for computer problems - even a "for sale and wanted" facility. might like to extend his empire and include a discreet dating facility. Admittedly I partook of a libation along with lunch so this idea may rank along with the aforementioned leotards and zimmers.
