Now look what's happened!

Re: Now look what's happened!
OK, now and then one maybe has to resort to an expletive if something untoward happens, hitting one's thumb with a hammer, getting soaked by a passing car, losing one's keys, or finding a flat battery in the car, for example.
But to be unable to string a sentence together without resorting to an F... or a B.... somewhere therein is tantamout to laziness and a lack of knowledge of the language.

Re: Now look what's happened!
Maybe people just get into the habit of swearing and don't realise they are doing it. Some are offended, others not. Off topic now I think..
Re: Now look what's happened!
OK - now off topic.
Unless someone else wants to take up the cudgel in defence of swearing.

Re: Now look what's happened!
Go on then Jim...shall we start a new thread on swearing? Who does it better..Scots or English? The C word definitely sounds better and more effective coming from an English mouth I think..
Re: Now look what's happened!
Go on then Foxy, gives us a demo and we'll try and work out what accent you're using.
Just to show how much of a 'Laydee' you realy are

I had a Schottische last night but I'm much better now thank you!
Re: Now look what's happened!
A demo? how on earth would I do that? As for me being a 'lady' well, that's a matter of opinion..
Re: Now look what's happened!
I feel I must reply to the post which poses question on which nationality is best when ity comes to swearing.
Having not had much experience in this field, I am loth to make any pronouncements on a national basis.
However it has been my experience that the incidence of swearing is inversely proportional to education, cultural backgroundm, and nurture.
It is also considerably more prolific unfortunately in the male sex, and seems to be considered macho in some quarters.
Posibly the admission to gang membership might sometimes depend on the ability to swear like a trooper (although I am a bit unclear on what a trooper is and why they have this particular ability - sorry! please replace ability with affliction).

Re: Now look what's happened!
Now Foxy, why don't you P/M me, with video, with you wearing that fetching gossamer leotard you wear after midnight usually in the car park at Caolas, and let rip........I mean in a totally vocal way, a volley of accents and I'll adjudicate and let everybody know.
The outfit should also determine how much of a 'laydee' you actually are!
Jimcee, I'll keep you in the loop!

Someone mentioned Off Topic
This is developing into a flirtratious exchange between two participants.
Where will it end?

Re: Now look what's happened!
Hilarious! sorry to disappoint anyone who might be hoping for some juicy gossip but, my 'flirting' days are well and truly over. Does not mean I have to stop wearing my black gossamer leotard though..does it?
Re: Now look what's happened!
Definitely not - at least, not after that last night's display! . Jimcee, you could always suggest a 'menage a trois?' Too old for that too Foxy?
I had a Schottische last night but I'm much better now thank you!
Re: Now look what's happened!
All these French quotes suggest a Gallic influence prevading this thread
While it may add a bit of spice to the discussion, I fear that the non-contributing punters (who are the vast majority of these pages) will be signing off soon if they do not have a French dictionary to hand.

Puis, terminons avec 'Baise moi!!' Au revoir - jusqu'à Caolas car park!!
I had a Schottische last night but I'm much better now thank you!
Re: Now look what's happened!
Sleepy...my limited French leads me to think your last posts are a bit risque? Sure you have me mixed up with someone else , anyway...where is this car park ? seems it's all happening there..come on..spill the beans!
Re: Now look what's happened!
You know!
I had a Schottische last night but I'm much better now thank you!
Re: Now look what's happened!
I have no intention of visiting this Caolas car park (wherever that is) and disturbing a tete-a-tete (your'e not the only one with a touch of the Francophile) between a pseudo Frenchman and a lovesick flower girl.
So please carry on with your tryst undisturbed, unless things get out of hand.
