By the end of next week we hope to have the keel and stems finished and have the skiff ready to turn over. There is still a lot of work to be done on the inside, but it is time to start thinking about the colour scheme. I have put a few suggested colour schemes on the website, along with a poll - please vote for the scheme you prefer, or suggest an alternative.

Here's what she looks like after we epoxied the outer stems and lower section of the keel in place this afternoon:
Hopefully some of you who have not been involved so far in the building will come up to the shed for the turning over and help us celebrate this milestone.

How about, Pantone 300 for the hull and brilliant white for the gunwales!
Oh, and called the boat 'YES!' - I have a few stickers that might do!

Skiff progress and choosing a name

This is where we are at now:
We're looking for suggestions for names . . . hoping to put a list in the next Seilachan, which goes to press in about ten days. Any suggestions for inclusion in the list can be made here as well.
