Not the most formal Burns Supper in the land, but usually one of the most entertaining.

Re: BURNS SUPPER
We bought our tickets today. Its 8pm, not 7.30 like the message at the top of the screen. Anyway can't wait. Its allways such a scream. Disappointed last year though because we didn't have the comedy cockney version of Tommy Shanter. Hopefully this year, it's soo funny in a cringey sort of way.
See you all there ?

Re: BURNS SUPPER
There wasn't a Burns Supper at the T&T last year. And the year before that Tam o'Shanter was performed by the much missed Ian Fullarton, who of course was from Burns country. I addressed the haggis that year. I believe the last time I recited Tam o'Shanter was in 2009, and you commented on it then in a similar vein.Maggie wrote:We bought our tickets today. However, if you are coming this year then you are in luck, for I will indeed, memory willing, be performing Tam o'Shanter. I am the first to admit that my Ayrshire brogue is less than perfect, but it is how the story is told that matters.
A man's a man for a' that eh?

Re: BURNS SUPPER
Great night. Probably less actually said about Burns than at most Burns Supper, but a lot about Seil, Argyll and Scotland.
