Luing Tunnel

Suppose an affordable Luing tunnel can be built (see this week's Oban Times).
This fixed link will inevitably bring a substantially increased volume of traffic onto the road from North Cuan through Seil Island to Kilninver and the main road. This road is already woefully inadequate for the traffic using it, and is falling apart. Every week new potholes of a size lethal to motorcyclists and damaging to cars appear. The edges are eroded away by the fleets of tour buses heading for Ellenabeich, making sections where previously cars could pass back into single track.
If the new fixed link brings with it a substantial upgrading of the road from N. Cuan then fine, but I suspect that no-one has costed this part of the project.
