Europe's ill wind - wind turbines and the tissue of lies

Politicians and wind farm developers may tell you one side of the argument in favour of wind farms, with the benefit of huge budgets and subsidies which are paid for by you, the consumer.
Here is a film made by a small group who oppose them. They are ordinary people, but unlike the politicians and wind farm developers, they only have a tiny budget and it comes out of their own pockets. But perhaps it is a more honest film, because these are the people who have had wind turbines forced upon them.

This film is now also available on the
PACT website at
http://www.clachanwindfarm.co.uk. There is also a startling impression of the windfarm seen from Whinbank.
PACT's first public meeting is being held on Wednesday 3rd November at 7pm in the hall. There will be a presentation and the opportunity to discuss the community's response to this proposal.

Having done some simple projections from the TnT and by the bridge I am already very conscious how visible the turbines will be from one angle and I had already worked out that every one in Clachan Seil and driving back from Balvicar to the bridge would have their vision filled with the things, but nothing prepared me for the image on the PACT website. I can only urge others to take a look. It is shocking.

Struggling to download the video I came across it on this website:

In the resource section are some more disturbing and distressing clips. Try watching the one with the vulture.
Tissues at the ready.

That image from Whinbank is absolutely horrific. The things look like something from War of the Worlds ... only worse. Are PACT inviting our friend Mr. Young to the meeting, so that we can all throw sharp objects at him?
