I don't know how much more of this I can take. First Cadbury get bought out by Kraft; an American company famous for selling plastic flavoured food, almost certainly resulting in large UK job losses. Then we find out it was substantially funded by The Royal Bank of Scotland, which I believe is over 80% owned by the British public.
Leaving aside the obvious irritation that the top dogs at RBS are getting paid a fortune for failure in their previous ventures, what is going to happen to the Dairy milk, the Fruit & Nut and the Flake? I dread to think, but it's enough to drive a Quaker to drink.
