wind farm pt2

perhaps without me being a berk
here`s why micro wind turbines don't work;
living a more friendly lifestyle i try

but i cant for the love of me understand why
living the lifestyle im told i should seek
means giving up comfort and pleasures each week

Ill have to stop flying, stop driving (not neat)
Then think about diet and do not eat meat
While im in my house well I cannot use heat
So isnt this life set to be a treat.

So if everything I do is not right
how can I help to reduce the worlds plight
A new boys toy the Domestic Wind Turbine
Install one now you`ll feel divine
only thing i`m a bit of a nirk
Will this contraption properly work

What could be better my roof upon, a
ethically installed badge of honour
superior, keeping morally aloof
turbine installed upon the roof

but where you live can be a problem
disreguarding that
can you get planning permission
if you live in an council flat.

Three years on, oh the troubles I`ve seen
though this the atempt to go green.
Planning permission, well more of a farce
local council,a pain in the a*se

Then should you get it a little man comes
installing your genny,a bundle of fun
in weather cold and dank and wet
presents a bill for national debt.

Will it work please listen well
for 60% of us ,---will it hell
The wind isnt strong enough here in the town
so the gennys arms do not turn round

of if they do well heres the rub
not enough power to heat the tub
you may have enough to light a candle
but your back inthe dark, from a different angle.

renewable resources so far i`ve seen
dont encourage a man to go green
the bills for intallation alone i fear
wont be covered for many a year

its a fact that small turbines are not
what we call effective and yet
the blade length and wind
we would all wish to find

can be harvest with relatively little harm
on a far larger scale in a proper wind farm.
though supporting all this yes life can be hard
but Not of course In My Back Y.ard

windsave my supplier have of course gone bust
paying for savings that never were just
predicted as saving 30%
factually.of course now i A`int

Yes of course i think we should try
but do your research first
and understand why

Feed-in tariffs

Teddy my dear, the remedy’s clear
It’s a feed-in tariff you need
Then when the wind blows the meter will go
Backwards – though not with great speed

I’ll say it again - in two thousand and ten
The Board will buy power from you
So if you go green it is easily seen
You can afford your windpower debut.

I love your case, and its so clearly put
though as woth most cases there is a big but
If I have funded recovery when
do you say I`ll see the money again

Two thousand and ten, probably too soon
The boardwill buy power ,the cow jump the moon
Normal folk impressed economics thereby
feed in tarrifs; pigs might fly

and in any event the way things will fold
i`ll not see a profit before im too old
by then of course it`ll be too late
Im already knocking the cemetry gate

I suppose if im lucky no profits i`ll earn
but will contribute power to help myself burn.
even thats wrong for burn i shall not
its ecologically friendly im told -----just to rot .
