.
Nominations for members of the new Community Council closed on 24th September 2009.

The number of members is based on the electorate of the area and Seil and Easdale can have up to 10 members. To be validly constituted, there must be a minimum of 5 members. Should the number of nominations be less than 10 but not less that 5 the candidates are declared elected and no poll held.

There were just 5 nominations and therefore we now have a new validly constituted Community Council. The names of the members of the new Community Council are:-

SEUMAS ANDERSON
TINA JORDAN
ANNE M ROBIN
MICHAEL C F SHAW
CHARLES H STRUTHERS

The present Community Council will cease to exist on 29th October 2009 and the new Community Council will come into being on 30th October 2009.

...and a fine group of worthy individuals they are too. Congrats to all of them for a hard fought but fair campaign.
Very pleased to see that there are two gaelic speakers amongst them.
Not at all concerned to know that two are active members of The Sons of Argyll.

Well, Ted, you must be a dab hand at recognising close up blooms and receding ladies with long skirts, to know what was Ardmaddy, and what was not.
Perhaps it might have been Arduaine, given all those rhododendrons?
Anyway an interesting clip and some recognisable places amonf all that flora.
