The Island

Yet small but majestic, cross the bridge oer the Atlantic, is an island with beauty serene. In the Tigh an Truish, there's often Scottish music, and if you're lucky a piper supreme. Atop the hill flys a Saltire, who listens to the satire, and the banter from locals below. This place casts a spell, as many can tell, spend time there and then you will know.

Ah, that takes me back, but not so far. Getting a wee bit homesick now. There was a piper down below, yesterday, somewhere. The tune wafted up on the breeze, playing The Sands of Kuwait, of all things...

Well, hopefully you'll get back soon. Don't know when it will be for me
. And shamefully, despite my family member being a piper, there's probably only a handful of tunes I could identify. Did he play that one while we were there?

I think he probably did, having been harrassed all weekend into doing so...

I remembered after I posted the reply certain people asking him for that tune. Couldn't hear it in my head, so sneakily went onto youtube this morning and found it.... very nice. I may be harrassing him for that one myself next time I go visit
