Section for the Arts???
Are there any local writers/ artists out there, if so should there be a section of the forum dedicated to showcasing local talent - a place to read short stories/ poems or to look and comment on drawings/ paintings???

Re: Section for the Arts???
.
I think this is potentially a great idea. People might be a little alarmed at the thought of the denizens of this place commenting on their work however . . . maybe it should remain anonymous?
Visual works of art could be posted in the Gallery, while a separate forum could be set up for written contributions. Does anyone else think this suggestion has legs, and who will post the first contribution? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to discuss this in open forum.

Great idea.
Set it up Mr McAdmin, sir, and I'll rush some of my poetry your way.
Forget anonymity. A true artist is never ashamed of her work.
