hello CanU
the new owner is a woman, i think they say she comes from Ardfern but dose'nt want to run
the place herself, so she is leasing it to two locals Steve Paterson and Shelia Lawson.
Well thats the goss at the moment
- but hey- that could all change knowing this place
hope that helps

Well that's good, I hope it works out for them!!! Still not sure who Steve and Shelia are though, do they live in Ellenabeich and where do they hail from???
P.s. Frequently ate in the woolly under the old regime and thoroughly enjoyed every meal, hope the high standards are maintained!!!

steve patterson has lived in the village for many years, and you may know him as a driver for the sea-fari. sheila lawson you may know as the cook in the t&t and also been in the village for a number of years.
where they hail from - i believe they are both of english descent.
hope this helps you to put a face to the names!
i hear there was a leavig party last night - was anyone there? was it any good?

Cheers Chavvy!
Yup, I know who we're talking about now - does this mean that there'll be a new seafari-man and no food at the TnT???

Maybe sea-fari steve is still hoping to do the odd boat trip.
Perhaps sheila will do batches of food for the T&T?
I really don't know canu - im intrigued as to who will be cooking for T&T, anyone else have any ideas?
The sea-fari will be alright, they've already got quite a few other drivers do they not? Can't wait for the corryvreckan specials again this year, they really are tremendous - well worth the money!
Wishing Andy & Co all the best for the future, and looking forward to welcoming Steve to the bar!

.
There will be food at the T&T - as far as I know they are looking for a chef at the moment, and Chantelle will cook until they find someone.

Strangely quite a few seem to prefer it to the offerings in the Woolpack, but now we have a new scenario. With their former cook off to the opposition we can perhaps hope that the TandT will raise its game.

Please tell me where has Andy and Mandy gone?
I'm a little behind in the news.
Why have they gone?
