LITTER

Post by Kathy Bowles »

In the past few months I, and no doubt many others, have noticed an increase in the amount of litter around. In the past, litter has been removed by our good selves quite easily. The quantity of litter is now getting rather out of control - I suspect the workings that have been going on around us have not helped the situation.

What should be done to alleviate the situation?

Approach BB and ask them to have a clear up?

Go through the community council?

Just pick it up?

 please

I have received the following communication on this subject from the Community Council:
With regard to litter, we have had a meeting with the Project Manager of Scottish Water Solutions who has spoken to the Contractors and will arrange for a litter-picking sweep of the area at the end of March when the majority of the works should be finished.

litter picking wouldn`t be needed if we were all carefull about what was left or thrown from
van car and 4x4 windows

and are we all certain it was someone else???????????
