Yup, peckers have been exposed in Clachan and they've even managed to break a few - something to do with the hardness of the rock around here - perhaps the dogs in the streets could have told them that 
As for the poor folks on Luing their medical plight is a major concern but would a fixed link not solve that and many other problems on Luing and on that other Island where I understand the people are revolting as well

Word on the street is that Sabbath Day Obsevence Society has a few new members. The meenister must be chuffed with his recruting.

I also hear that my uncle was a one man protest...... needing police intervention, aye what a guy..... standing up for the wee man.
