Sorry Nick McB me old chum. Off to Phuket for a couple of months on Wednesday so can't make it. Shame because I thoroughly enjoyed your last one; a great success it was too. I recommend to anyone who's wavering, or tempted to go to The Woolpack's closing night instead, to go along to the TnT on Saturday.

Bamber Shanks (challenging by choice)

ps If you're stuck for sufficient "Local Knowledge" questions PM me before Wednesday and I'll let you have some.

Aye Nick,

A very enjoyable night but I thought there was to be a question on local place names :?: :?: :loveseil

And are you sure Dobbin didn't win this years Grand National.

A not so little birdie told me there was some less than honest behaviour by one of the higher placed teams.

I'm sorry now that I didn't make it along.
I went, instead, to the Woolpack closing party - only to find that there was no closing going on.
So thanks to some wag, I missed what was obviously an enjoyable evening.....

Got your facts wrong - they didn't win last time.

A great evening - good turnout and much jollity.
