Absolutely and definitely NO!

Oil revenues have kept the UK from sinking for thirty years and where does it all come from?

Surely England's a bit of a busted flush these days? Politically run by Scots, sportingly run by Italians, identity lost by immigration, empires and exploitation of foriegn lands gone forever, too high a population for its resources, few friends because of past arrogances and dependent on continuing to steal Scottish oil revenues, yet still being left in the dust by the new buoyant Scotland! Och aye the noo! No wonder Scotland's full of English emigrees! 8)

It's only rumours moonraker. Being English is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then travelling home built by Polish workers, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV. And of course it is all paid for by Scottish oil.

And a Scots car comes from?
And a Scots TV is made in?
And Scots only watch programes and movies made in Scotland?
Scots only have Indian, Chinese, Italian restaurants in their towns for foreigners to use?
Scottish airports only operate flights to other Scottish airports?

Rubbish. What aspect of 'English' life is significantly different to the Scots way of life? Oh yes, English always have a cup of tea at 4 o'clock

And how many Scots are employed by American, German, Dutch, Japanese, French, Swedish, Icelandic, Norwegian, Spanish and English owned companies?

Yes PP, the world is getting smaller. I should have said British, apart from the difference in tea drinking times, the population of British Isles was apparently established thousands of years ago from the same people, genetically much alike. But everything changes rapidly nowadays and sometimes I think moonraker is still living in Neolithic Age.  8)
