Apparently the world's populations are being sucked towards life in the cities......people leaving the countryside to find work and prospects amongst the huge sprawling masses of humanity.
But a friend of mine was sick of life in the city and joined up with a group of complete strangers to buy his small share of a largish property in Cornwall which offered something of the good life, low cost housing, and the choice of working the land or to continue a 'normal' job.
The place is called Trelay, see http://www.trelay.org/downloads/Trelay%20brochure.pdf. It makes me wonder if such an idea could solve some of the difficult issues of Seil in attracting a wider range of age groups, providing cheaper housing, creating jobs, and enhancing the landscape without it being restricted to those with a bob or two.
