Why do right-handed people live longer than southpaws? (By about 9 years apparently)

Shankers has lived longer than southpaws because he gets someone else to do it.
Anyway...who here fancies Southpaws? No wonder he's going to die in less than nine years, lack of right hand apparently

Heart is on the left hand side of body.....so when indulging in the black art of left handed self love, the heart suffers a great deal of strain!
Here is another question, we know that the badgers and otters are all round at the Natural History Group doing a slide show about the dangers of knowing Bill Travers and his wife, but where are all the ferel goats???

Okay, before we all discuss the eating of the badgers too, here's a question especially for PP:
What would happen if the whole population of China jumped up and down at the same time?

Probably the same would happen if all the bateria on you body jumped up and down at the same time, not a lot, except poulation growth might be slowed down a little...

Not quite correct. According to "The Ultimate Book of Useless Information"
"the vibration could cause a tital wave that would engulf the United States."
Now, there's a thought.

Having flown over much of the earth I have always been amazed to look down from 30,000 ft to see, that despite it being a 'crowded' world, mankind still takes up a very small proportion of the surface.
I have calculated that if you get all 1.3 billion people in China to stand shoulder to shoulder allowing them a space of 60 cms by 30 cms you can pack 5.5 million of them per square km. This means the whole population can fit into 236 square kilometres compared to the overall Chinese land mass of 9.59 million square kilometres. In this respect they don't take up much space, and relative to the mass of the earth I think it rather doubtful that if they all jumped up and down at the same time it would have much effect apart from generate even more CO2.

So perhaps you agree with this one instead:-
"If the population of China began walking past you in single file, the line would never end because of the rate of reproduction."
Or maybe just throw the book away huh?

mmmmmmm...might be some truth in that but it depends how fast they walk or whether I am in a high speed spacecraft going the opposite way
