Not for the first time, 7th, you've invited the minions to discuss a topic of your choosing without offering anything up.
Inevitably, as soon as someone passes remark, in you come to abuse their opinion.
( With due respect to a certain regular contributor) - you're like the spider on the web awaiting the gormless fly !!

Ok, what in your mind constitutes a questionable planning application, my take on this would be a holiday home for instance. Its quite a grey area when you think about it....
Some one else is gadding about with my nom de ploom....

All planning applicatons are questionable - isn't that the job of the planning committee?
And of course they are all questionable by us personally if we feel they threaten us or are - in our personal opinion - 'bad for' the community in some way. We can then think about it and then write a letter of objection if we feel strongly enough. Discussions such as the one on the previous thread can help our personal decision making process or can deteriorate into a slanging match. It's all our choice really.
When the planning committee have made a decision that it becomes de facto no longer questionable. Whether we have the right people in these positions or the right policies governing their decision making processes is of course anoher completely separate can of worms.
Making a list on here of what is acceptable and what is not acceptable to the assembled intellects of this forum is probably not going to be a useful exercise though.
What about - Is Seil a 'planned community' and if it isn't should it be? Discuss.

An acceptable application would be for a smoking shelter at the TnT.

Blubbo says "When the planning committee have made a decision that it becomes de facto no longer questionable"
You are wrong (100%) and know nothing of the process whatsoever do you?
This is the problem when you let ANYONE make objections based on petty ideals that only matter to themselves.
Oh really?

I may well be wrong. It is not totally unknown.
I was under the impression that once a decision has been made by the planning committe the time for appeals is past. Unless of course you are Donald Trump.
Are you Donald Trump?
Anyway, whatever your opinion on the rights or wrongs of it may be there is a procedure for us mere uneducated mortals with our worthless values and ideas to put in a written objection to any standard planning application at a certain stage in the process.
Shame isn't it? It should obviously all be left up to you with your superior knowledge and sneering tone. No-one else is entitled to have an opinion apparently.
This is the problem when you let ANYONE make objections based on petty ideals that only matter to themselves.
Yes, ideals - horrible outdated things- greed and self interest are the only forces a true citizen recognises.
I feel sick.
I think it may be time for the IGNORE button . . .

Well Blubber instead of spouting garbage on here about something you know nothing about why don't you ASK?
Are you too shy or stupid?
Good evening to you. (part of the new nice me)

Oh and bye the way my comment was directed at you not everyone. You're the one that pretends to be clever. You try to group yourself with everyone else as a solidarity type thing. Same with the racist comment. If you are going to spout nonsense at least be big enough to stand up for it.

Oh Seil Blubber don't use the Ignore button. Surely you are like the rest of us, completely fascinated at this whole debate regarding questionable planning applications. It seems to be drawing in listeners from all over the world.....Poles, Americans, ENGLISH....any other nations out there?
But we should be socially responsible and cool things down before Makes Sense busts a blood vessel.
