Canoe man

Is there any truth in the rumour that the canoe man was one of the gnomes for a while, before boarding his windsurfer for Panama City?

Question: is it possible for someone to live undetected for up to five years on Seil, Easdale or Luing? I think we should be told. Your opinion/thoughts/personal experiences welcome.

MI5 did not ask me to ask you....... nor the Cleveland boys in blue....
Wendy Alexander MAY have.....

Adios...

Apparently the canoe man lived undetected in a bedsit next to the family home - and the wife locked him, Ann Frank style, in the cupboard under the stairs when they had visitors.

Now the canoe man's 'out' maybe it would make a fine residence for Jack McConnel - or is he already hiding out - while he's waiting for his Malawi ticket???????????

Interesting that the wife seems to be facing the more serious charges - claiming the dosh on the life policies - I think he's just being done on fraudulently obtaining a passport... and with that big bushy beard too - did no one at the passport office think it looked disguise-like?

reminds me of the story of the student some years ago who travelled all round Europe on one of those Inter-rail cards (remember them, anyone?) - with a passport that contained a photo of his DOG - no one even noticed!
Aaah, the good old days!
