I'm beginning to think Spooks is getting too far fetched. Anyone agree? I now no longer wish to be a spy for the British Government. Any other ideas of what I can do instead?

Become a planning consultant?

You could always apply for the job of Dr Who's assistant - that's not far-fetched at all, as all those stories are true - especially the ones concerning Torchwood. Cardiff is a very strange place.

Right! Having read all the suspicions about recent planning applications I'm going undercover into the planning department. What information do we need?

find out if all sheds need foundations, or can they be erected willy nilly on a wooden floor......gnomes need homes!

Willy nilly on wooden floors, apparently. But, planning persmission is required in all conservation areas!
Size only matters when conservation areas aren't of concern.

"But, planning persmission is required in all conservation areas!"
Are you real? So we don't need planning permission if it aint a conservation are. Tell me when did Balvicar become a conservation area?
Aren;t we talking sheds here?

So we don't need planning permission if it aint a conservation area.
I think that is right in connecton with this particular thread, where the edifice under discussion is a shed. You can erect a shed of up to a certain size without planning permission as far as I am aware - but
not in a conservation area.
You seem very touchy about planning issues, Mr. Sense.

Seil Blubber says "You can erect a shed of up to a certain size without planning permission as far as I am aware"
State the obvious AGAIN.
Are you a child or do you just have primary school education?
Eh?

What exactly is your problem? Your previous post clearly showed that you were jumping in without having read the content of the post in question, yet now you acuse me of stating the obvious.
Your contributions on this forum to date seem to indicate that you have joined for no reason other than to be rude to people. You apparently have some sort of chip on your shoulder. If you don't have anything constructive or pleasant to say then you should at least try to ensure that your sniping makes some kind of sense.
A few posters - myself included - live in glass houses and chuck stones freely about on here, but we try to do it with a little panache - you just seem thoroughly miserable, bitter and twisted. Lighten up a bit or we'll set Spidey on you.

Hey Blubber you are entitled to your opinion same as me.
If you don't think my posts are as constructive as you want them to be then you are entitled to say so.
I too am entitled to say you are very shallow with little or no secondary education, living on benefits for which I am paying for.

"for which I am paying" is sufficient, Makes Sense, if you are determined to snipe about grammar and levels of education........
Anyway, we were not really (or at least I wasn't) having a SERIOUS discourse on planning permission/sheds/conservation areas etc - it was intended as a bit of light relief from the heavy, and getting heavier by the minute planning application entries on the other post!
I was always taught to ignore rude people - so I think we should all just do that!
And Spooks tonight was even MORE bizarre, although I only saw the last 30 minutes, we were saved from (a) a bomb masterminded by the Home Secretary and (b) a war with Iran - not bad going!

Spooks!! Mr Concise, please stop watching, you will find that your brain will start to function and your libido will return to normal. I worry for your health, prolonged watching of far fetched serials will only lead to madness, and a in extreme cases uncontrollable drooling. Become a spy if you wish, but save yourself before its too late!

I'm not sure I wish to discuss Mr. Concise's libido but Adam Carter's seems quite healthy. I've lost count how many women he's "wooed", and like many folk I hardly ever watch the programme.
As for uncontrollable drooling - I thought that was the norm around here.
