Well thanks so much Seventh . . .

.No-one posts anything on here for weeks, then as soon as I post something semi-significant to do with the site it gets knocked off the top spot by a gnome posting!

Typical . . . :banghead :)

Never mind, I will return to the post and sticky it . . . .

Why has it been so quiet anyway? Everyone out gnome spotting? It can't have been because the weather is so good . . .

Gnome Rescue facility

Post by MA1BOB »

Let it be known that there is a gnome rescue facility available for any unwanted gnomes. They are free to frolic on a 5 acre farm without fear of persecution. Each Gnome is assured a loving and safe home.

So gather up all the gnomes and ship them here. I will put on the kettle for them.

Cheers

Good to see you're prepared to do your bit for the sma' folk.

I hope your 'Gnome on the range' will have the regulation red and white spotted toadstools and plenty fishing rods.

I think I spotted another one under the cliff at the car park in Ellenabeich?

Check out the modern/naughty gnomes on the Gnomeland.co.uk website. There's a few I'd like to get for my front garden!!

Perhaps you could go incognito and sit in my front garden to watch out for suspicious activity! Mind you, I expect you might get exposed if you dress up as one to infiltrate the planning department.

Do we need planning permission for garden gnomes? - we seem to need them for just about everything else!

I'm not sure....why not ask the wee baldy gnome?

He seems to have a thorough knowledge of these things

I can't believe the gardens gnomes would do a thing like that! The ones in my garden certainly wouldn't. Mind you, I did notice a few missing on the day of the recent planning inquiry. I thought they'd just nipped off to the pub.

So, now we know that we all need planning consent for any size of garden shed (well, those who live a a conservation area) who's gonna be brave enough to put one up without it? Will the gnomes spill the beans?

Do I hear "Oh! No they wont!" "Oh! Yes they will!"?

I see eric you are attending the Canadian School of Joinery, I hear this establishment provides high quality planning advice, and also a good module on riding old bikes. I was quivering with post orgasmic delight that you have followed in the footsteps of some of Seils more voluble members of the comunity.
