Apologies to all who were offended by my first ever post
, i do admit after reading it back, seemed a little harsh, it did feal better to at least vent some of my frustration,as i was a little angry at the time of press.however in future i promise to uphold the rules in here, and refrain from verbally assaulting anyone else.
sorry folks.......

I like to see different views on this site. To a point. But when they become offensive, personal attacks like this one, I think they do nothing but insult and offend the other users of this site.
Yellow card . . .

Rough Justice,
Please modify the more personally offensive bits of this post immediately before I am forced to remove it entirely.

my my rough justice!!!
i guess im one of the lucky ones who got to read your true feelings!
i think it's fair enough to express yourself, and i guess you are one of those aware of the ridiculous "goings ons" at the weekend!
However, can see why it was classed as harsh and offensive to some.
Sometimes you just need to get these things off your chest!

blow the bl**dy doors off . . .
I don't see why you had to delete the whole post, RJ. I gather it referred to some trouble at 't Woolpack this weekend though.
Any more news on the future of this hostelry?

it didn't so much as refer to the trouble at the weekend...but i think the "close call" at the weekend certainly contributed to SJ's 'jibes' about the Wooly's owner.
No, still no news,,,but I am 95% sure they r staying put(without the brewery)

Word is a young fellow got beaten up by an innkeeper for singing flower of Scotland on the day that England lost the rugby, rough justice or what!
If it were I, I'd get the police involved; you'd expect more from a "responsible" licensee!

I'm not getting dragged into this - just saying folks shouldn't speculate!

It's what people do tho SS...they speculate!!!
And I wouldn't say there was more to it..... i think LESS to it would be more appropriate, don't you think?

and will continue to speculate until they are put right SS.....
so where do you stop the rumours?
just let them circulate and see what happens? enjoy what others come up with, whilst you sit and watch them (perhaps enjoying it, whilst you're in "the know") and tell them they are wrong...so then they come up with another scenario.....
or do you say that's NOT what happened....and elaborate and put a stop to all the nonsense and rumours straight away?

Oh well, I suppose we'll all have to settle for the silent treatment (poo-pooers!)
But what does moonraker make of it all?

It's that sort of reckless and loose-tongued nonsense that inflames already delicate situations.
....I'll wager Tony Blair didn't invite you to discuss the Iraq problem
