A MUCH BIGGER BIRD

Post by EL TORO »

Does anyone know who owns a young Peahen or has lost one recently.

It has just spent the last hour sitting beside my car, seemed very tame but will not last long around here with the foxes.

I'm not an expert but if it is a young peahen then perhaps it has lost its mum and dad, in which case it has probably decided you might be worth a shot at looking after it. Being young and possibly orphaned  it will latch onto anything really.

your shout- good luck surrogate. :P

ET, did you find the owner of the Peehen? I know somebody at Barcaldine who keeps them if you need to shift it.
