Thats a shame. I am sure that everyone looked forward to the games and a fun day out.

Seems that the Games are cancelled due to a lack of willing bodies to do the paperwork. Shame we haven't got some kind of community website thingy, maybe even with some kind of forum facility, on which people could ask for volunteers and stuff.

Don't despair - those of you plenty leisure time can always go to the Argyllshire Gathering instead. All the usually Highland games events - Caber tossing, hammer throwing, elephant polo, cap dothing etc.
.........And better still - by holding the event on a Thursday there's less chance of having to mingle with the undesireable local oiks.
