Yes Bill I did note that we had a referendum, not sure why nobody is commenting on here or the other place, maybe still shell-shocked or maybe just don’t care? Personally I think it’s a bad thing economically and shows us in a negative light internationally and I am sorry that Cameron felt compelled to hold it. I think we will all pay dearly for this decision and cant see any advantage to being out, except of course that Wendy will now be allowed to sell curved cucumbers in the shop.

I have been impressed with our Scottish politicians from all of the party’s during this fiasco and believe that we are presently being very badly served by the bunch in Westminster. Thankfully the majority of them are about to depart and one can only hope that the next leaders of Government and opposition are of a higher calibre.

I guess no-one on The Slate commented because no-one is interested - they haven't even commented on the latest Forward Planning meeting or the self-support meeting. Instead it seems to have become a forum for people to explore their fantasies and grasp of the double-entendre.

Seil Chat (real names version) is still here for people wanting to discuss serious issues.

Looks like the Shadow Cabinet will be drifting back with it's tail between it's legs since the grass no longer looks so green on the rebel side............Could it be the same be said for Seil Chat??

Well, I don't know.

Signing up under real names still seems to be a big no-no for most people.

Which remains frustrating considering the number of people in the past who told me, apparently earnestly, that they would be keen to participate if it was under real names.

Been reading the news over the last few days and it's starting to look like the Brexiteers can now be compared with turkeys voting for Christmas......or lemmings rushing headlong for the cliff.....
At least that's how the EU sees us now............Surely we don't have to commit political/financial suicide.......Do we? :(
