The Forum appears to be under attack!!!

Hey all;

This forum appears to be under attack by SPAMMERS!! I belong to several UK and U.S. Forums and we get the occasional Spammer. This site seems to be getting attacked daily plus they are posting on almost every category. This takes a concerted effort. Any suggestions?

This place does seem to attract them. I try to keep on top of them, but it is a full time job. If anyone has any ideas on how to block them without blocking potential genuine members, let me know. Don't fully understand this php stuff.
