The Second Annual Seil Regatta and Ceilidh will be held on Saturday 31 May
Rowing will be clockwise around the island (Seil!) with a crew change half way round at Hunter's Quay - the start is at Ellenabeich Pier @ 1300, through Clachan Bridge from about 1430 and a finish off Easdale at around 1700. Weather permitting, of course. We hope to have several visiting skiffs - the Isle of Mull Coastal Rowing Club has already accepted the challenge!
There will be an evening BBQ at Seil Hall from 1800 - everyone welcome (pay BBQ) followed by a Ceilidh at 1930. The music will be provided by Nell Kennedy & friends who are returning to Seil by popular demand, with a guest appearance by Seil Sound once again. Entrance £5 (free for under 16s) BYOB
Raffle prizes have been generously donated by Easdale Seafoods, Leiper Gallery (Glasgow) and Seafari Adventures (Oban) as well as individuals. Other donations very gratefully received.
Please come and cheer on Seil's very own community skiff - the ceilidh was a great night out last year!

Re: SEIL SKIFF REGATTA & CEILIDH 31 MAY
NB The first leg of the race is now starting at 1100 off the Old Pier at Ellenabeich, and the skiffs will be piped through the Clachan Bridge at around 1230 (depending on how fast they row!)
We have entries from Isle of Mull, Isle of Luing (their soon-to-be-launched, as yet un-named, St Ayles skiff and their Fair Isle 6-oar skiff), Mid-Argyll and Pittenweem. And the Isle of Seil community skiff, Selkie, of course.
Hope to see you there!
