The following was posted by someone who attempted tlo sign up under s pseudonym (or possibly not - it might be their real name but it was only a partial name).

I was unable to approve their post, but in view of the subject matter I have reproduced it here :
hello everyone, we have been away on holiday for a week and our beloved cat is missing wondered if anyone had seen him, we are in Balvicar and he usually stays close. he is mainly white with a grey striped tail like a raccoon and gray patches, neutered male. Thanks.
In the meantime, if 'rennie' would like to send me their full name I will edit their profile accordingly and approve their original post. And please accept my apologies if you were unaware of the recent change to postings under real names only.

I caught a glimpse of what may have been a white cat darting across the road towards the golf course up near the Moss's house on Friday night. Not a lot of help, I know.

A cat answering this description is in the field behind my house right now.

Seems to be heading back towards the village. He doesn't look lost, more just out for a saunter.

Not got your number, so no way to get in touch other than this.

Hi Iain,

I've changed your user name and you are now free to post.

If you want me to give you a ring if I see the cat again please PM me your phone number - I only have the old book.
