Am I the only cove who is watching in a kind of slow motion horror as Scotland and Britain head for a infrastructure melt down, or am I being naive.....

Is it a wonder Banks are doing so well (check out your last set of bank charges)when the "Labour" goverment handed over the setting of intrest rates to the Bank of England?

Is there a connection with the water shortage (or overpopulation) in the SE of England and the desire to privatize Scottish Water? or am I being paranoid.......

Is water the next oil? will we find documents in 30 years time down playing the value of our water as we have about the value of OUR oil?

I know these are not particularly local problems but i would be intrested in your views.......

oh yes why do we pay more for oil products the closer you get to there source ie Shetland?!!!!!!

I would like to think so although they still seem to wax lyrical about Scotland through the eyes of Sir Walter Scott ,all tartan and shortbread, although reporting T.Blair to the Met. Police was a touch of genius.......

And then there's the problem of getting the central belt to stop voting Labour........but I am sure after 50 years of getting a bum deal they will wake up soon. Any hoo I think I will look at the community council meeting minutes as I am having trouble sleeping..............
