Happy New Year ane and all.
I see a lot of the Tesco delivery vans are now coming here.
I am seriously considering using this service for my weekly shop from now on;
1. No more hassle of the weekly drive into Oban and the actual pain of wandering the aisles etc.
2. A lower carbon footprint due to 30 less miles a week by moi........wow; that's 1,500 less miles a year thus a saving of about a thousand pounds and a huge contribution to the fight against global warmimg.
3. No adverse affect on the excellent Balvicar Stores as I will continue to use it in the same way as I do now; ie for daily needs like Daily Mail, milk, sweets, etc
Please could anyone who uses the service post their experiences (positive and negative) so I can make up my mind.

Used it several times and it has been excellent.

I'm very interested in using this service...the only thing is, petrol/diesel. would still need to go to Oban once a fortnight [ish].Anyone any idea on cost? or does it depend on the size of your order?

Tesco delivery is £3.50 to £5 depending on day/time.

Last time I checked there was no delivery to Easdale Island.
