The European Regional Fund has awarded the Isle of Luing Community Trust up to £360,000 for the Atlantic Islands Centre, which will now go ahead.

Well Jim, that's a very modest remark compared to some of the bile and vitriol being poured out on ForArgyll on the subject.

It's publicly accessible money, not coming personally out of your pocket. Why does everyone have to be so unpleasant about it? I hope the Centre is as good as its forward publicity, and I look forward to visitng it to find out.
