Don’t know if its relevant but we are near the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. These clear nights should provide a good view to the North East…

Look over towards Easdale...anyone online! somethiong very strange...flashing, silent and moving very slowly..Wow!

Nothing out there tonight [as yet], certain that what I saw last night was nothing to do with meteors though Donnie. Just a thought...is there anywhere you can phone to ask whether there is anything flying around at certain times? Surely all craft have to 'log' their movements?

Salty John..can you please describe what you saw?...or were you winding us up and it was a coincidence there was something strange in the skies last night...

Oh well...no point buying that new winter coat...we are all doomed!

Any aircraft movements, as far as I know, should be logged? Nick/Tim any knowledge on this?
