The mainframe at Webcraft Towers went down with a missing MBR (Master Boot Record) on Tuesday evening. After failing to boot from the Win7 CD thanks to lack of a PS2 keyboard I decided that I couldn't be bothered spending hours chasing the problem down and took the machine into Matrix the next morning. A bit of shopping in Tescos while the nerding was done and it's good as new - and for a very fair price.
I've come across some grim PC shops in my time, but Andy and Paul at Matrix really are excellent, so I thought I would just type up this unsolicited testimonial while the urge was upon me.
